Quick start

Elerio is a monitoring service for websites, APIs, servers and network infrastructure. It checks the targets you define on a schedule, tracks availability and response time, records incidents and notifies you when something breaks.

In five minutes you'll create an account, add your first monitor and set up notifications.

1. Create an account

Open the sign-up page and register one of two ways:

  • Email and password. After signing up you'll get an email with a confirmation link — open it to activate your account. Logging in isn't available until you confirm.
  • With Google. The account is created right away; no separate email confirmation is needed.

If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and request it again from the login page if needed.

2. Add your first monitor

After logging in you'll land on the Overview — the combined state of all your monitors. Click "Add monitor" and fill in the form:

  1. Check type — for a website or API, leave it on HTTP(S). Other types (TCP, ICMP, TLS, DNS, Heartbeat) are described in Monitor types.
  2. Address — for example https://example.com.
  3. Check interval — how often to poll the target. The minimum depends on your plan.
  4. Notification channels — choose where alerts go (see Notification channels).

Save. The first check runs within a few seconds, and the monitor shows its status: Up, Down or Pending (before the first check).

3. Set up notifications

To receive alerts, connect at least one channel in the Notifications section:

  • Email — sent to your confirmed address.
  • Telegram — linked through a bot in a couple of clicks.
  • Browser push notifications — work even when the tab is closed.

Channels are chosen per monitor — you can route production to Telegram and leave test targets quiet. More in Notification channels.
